Photographing the Whidbey Island coastline is about as good as it gets. The mornings will be spent capturing dramatic sunrises, photogenic coastlines, a lighthouse, harbors, bays, beautiful madrones, and one or two gardens. During the afternoon, we’ll direct our attention to the classroom where we’ll discuss the basic tenets of photography that include light, color, form, and expression. During the instructional session, time will be spent working on your compositions and critiquing your daily work—then it’s back out for a sunset session in the field.
